DANTE CORSO FLIGHT STUDY
AIRCRAFT

REAL-TIME WEBGL / BUILT FROM SCRATCH BY DANTE CORSO

FROM SUMMIT TO SEA

A 3D world running live in your browser — every mountain, cloud, wave, aircraft and ship generated from code and custom shaders. No downloaded models, no game engine, no build step.
Move your cursor through the fog. Switch aircraft. Scroll to fly the route.

THE
AIRFRAME

A high-wing turboprop built in code, with a working propeller, control surfaces, navigation lights, and a wake of wingtip vortices.

No aircraft here is a downloaded asset. Every fuselage, wing profile, canopy, nozzle, paint scheme and moving surface is lofted from geometry at runtime, and all three are modelled at true scale in metres so they stay in honest proportion to each other. Switch between them above without leaving the flight.

THE
VALLEY

The fog is a real volume, not an image effect — and your cursor is a ray through it. Move it and the air genuinely parts, wakes and all.

A ray-march samples a 3D noise field between the lens and whatever the depth buffer says is in front of you, shadowing each step toward the sun. The range underneath it is a domain-warped ridged multifractal, 160,000 vertices carved into a flyable corridor with meltwater, glacier shelves and a coastline, its sun occlusion horizon-mapped at load and blended live as the light moves.

THE
COAST

Then the mountains simply stop, and the planet opens.

One atmosphere function drives everything. The same code that colours the sky is sampled by the sea for its reflections, by the rock and the water for aerial perspective, and by a cube probe the aircraft's paint and glass reflect. Change the sun and all of it moves together, because it is all the same equation — which is why the light never comes apart.

OPEN
WATER

Low over a moving field of light, flying into the sun's reflection.

The sea is displaced by layered Gerstner waves, foam gathers where the surface folds onto itself, and wildlife surfaces along the route. Shipping gives the water its scale: a destroyer holds station on the horizon, then a 335-metre container ship crosses close aboard — hull plating, bridge block, and eighteen bays of boxes stacked six high — before a working boat runs in beneath the sunset.
